CarHaven employs standard banking formulas (reducing balance EMI, quarterly compounding, FOIR thresholds). However, lenders occasionally adjust compounding conventions, minimum finance caps, or GST treatments.
If you believe a calculation differs from your lender's official sanction letter, please include:
- The specific calculator URL you were using
- Your exact input values (Loan Amount, Tenure in Months, Interest Rate % p.a., Down Payment)
- The CarHaven calculated result vs the bank's quoted EMI
- The name of the lending institution and whether the loan uses monthly reducing or daily reducing balance
Our engineering desk will review the parameters and issue mathematical adjustments within 48 hours.
